Fiddler on the street

*Fiddler on the Street* is a collection of diaries from Teemu Kupiainen's street music tours to China, India, Morocco and France. Written from a musician's perspective, travelers without an instrument will gain insight into the power of music.

As Kupiainen's travels unfold, he reveals how Bach's music reaches and fascinates varied audiences of street children, beggars, monks, shepherds, prostitutes, businessmen, tourists, monkeys, dogs, and at least one cow.

The works of art of photographer Stefan Bremer, who was involved in Kupiainen's second trip to India, compliment Kupiainen's reflections on music and life.

*Fiddler on the Street* allows the reader to get one step closer to solving the eternal mystery of the connection between music and life. Why play the violin on the street? For Teemu Kupiainen, it just has to be so.
